On August 13, 2026, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lyric Wailyn James of Garfield County on an arrest warrant for charges of:

  • CRS 18-6-403 (FEL) SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN (FELONY) 3 COUNTS.
  • CRS 18-6-701(1)(A) CONTRIBUTING TO DELINQUENCY MINOR 1 (FEL).

The arrest follows an investigation conducted by the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and a felony review process by the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Bond was set at $10,000.

No additional information will be released at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
