GCSO: Arrest made for child sexual exploitation charges

New Castle man faces multiple other charges

On August 9, 2026, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Boebert of New Castle on an arrest warrant for charges of CRS 18-6-403, sexual exploitation of a child and multiple other charges. The arrest follows an investigation conducted by the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and a felony review process by the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Bond was set at $10,000. Boebert bonded out of the Garfield County Jail the same day.

No additional information will be released at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
