A protest was filed on March 11 to the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder’s Office regarding a community recall effort to remove Garfield County School District Re-2 Board of Education Director of District E Tony May from his seat. Garfield County has retained an independent officer, Ms. Sheila Reiner of Desert Vista Consulting, LLC, of Mesa County, to administer a protest hearing and decide whether the protest is valid and if a recall election will be scheduled. An extension of the normal 30-day grace period for vehicle registrations in Colorado is ending on July 1, 2020. An executive order issued by Gov.
