March 12 Planning Commission continued public hearings on the Nutrient Farms PUD
The continued public hearings associated with the Nutrient Farms PUD will be held on March 12, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the Board of County Commissioners meeting room at 108 8th St. in Glenwood Springs.
The commission will open the public hearing and accept into the record new exhibits including supplements from the applicant and additional public comment letters that have been received.
The applicant has submitted a request for continuation of the public hearing, which the commission will consider. Community Development staff is still reviewing additional information submitted by the applicant and the public. Staff supports the continuation request.
The commission will decide if they want to take additional public comment at the March 12 hearing and will decide on the continuation request and any future dates for a continuation.
The public can attend the March 12 hearing in person or online via a Zoom meeting link.
Staff will make every effort to accommodate the anticipated large number of attendees, however, the Zoom link may be an option to assist in our room capacity limitations. Relocation to a larger venue would require additional legal steps to comply with public noticing requirements.
The Planning Commission agenda and supplemental submittals, new exhibits, and public comments are available online.
Please reach out to the Community Development Department (970-945-8212) if you have any questions regarding the upcoming hearing and/or any difficulty accessing the exhibits and application information.
Please note the county has updated its website domain to www.garfieldcountyco.gov and the website and some links are periodically experiencing technical issues. Your patience is much appreciated.
