Garfield County supports Pathfinder BEAD grant application

The Garfield County Humanitarian Awards returns to the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs on April 4, 2022. The in-person event begins at 5 p.m. and tickets are now available.
Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado (AGNC) has completed its public engagement phase in the update of its regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). A 30-day public comment period is now open through Aug. 31.
All Garfield County offices of elected officials and county administrative departments will be closed Friday, July 3, for Independence Day. Staff functions that serve the community in emergency or 24-hour capacities will remain in operation as needed, but administrative offices of such departments will be closed. The Garfield County Landfill west of Rifle is open for business on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.
Garfield County Human Services Commission grants are now available to qualifying nonprofit 501(c) (3) agencies. The applications are due to the Garfield County Manager’s Office, 108 8th Street, Suite 101, Glenwood Springs, by 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3.
Garfield County is now accepting applications for Human service mini-grants.
Peak Health Alliance, a nonprofit that negotiates lower healthcare insurance premiums, is holding meetings in Glenwood Springs and Rifle on Jan. 16, as part of a regional effort to explore better rate options for citizens and businesses.
